The Yasaka player Mattias Karlsson has had some injury problems in the beginning of 2018. Now he is fit again, and takes part in the World Tour tournament Qatar Open.
In the group games Mattias won his matches, and in the preliminary qualification round he beat JANG Woojin, Korea with 4-3 in sets.
In the Main Draw first round Mattias played against the World ranked no. 8, Simon GAUZY from France. Mattias won the match with 4-1 in sets.
In the next round, best of 16, Mattias will play ZHOU Yu, China.
Since his cadet age Mattias has played with Yasaka equipment.
Mattias is using the rubbers Rakza X (bh) and Rakza PO (fh) and Ma Lin Soft Carbon blade.
